Argenta Changes Name to Azabache Energy and Consolidates Shares

Azabache Energy Inc. ("Azabache") (TSX VENTURE:AZA) announces that it has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to change the Company's name to Azabache Energy Inc. from Argenta Oil & Gas Inc. and to consolidate the common shares on the basis of one new share for every five old shares. The consolidated shares will commence trading January 11, 2010 under the symbol AZA which has not changed. Shareholders have been mailed a Letter of Transmittal from Equity Transfer & Trust Company, the Company's transfer agent and registrar.
